In a clear demonstration of how awesome that shit hole that was once Great, Britian is; Kasim Raja, 26, had his travel documents checked TWICE by staff at Birmingham International Airport — but they did not notice the picture and details were that of his 22 year old sister Samina.
Kasim flew to Islamabad — terror capital of Pakistan, and linked to several UK terror plots — but was stopped by airport security there last weekend, held for two hours then deported back to the land of freedom form Islamist terrorists and mullahs, England.
Property developer Mr Raja, of Moseley, Birmingham, said: “I was in a rush and grabbed what I thought was my passport as I left home.
“It doesn’t say much for airport security — I don’t look anything like my sister. I flew for 7½ hours then had to fly home.
“I’m furious with the security officials. Now I’ve lost £1,000 on this trip, have had to pay again and reschedule my flight. They refuse to refund me.”
A spokeswoman for Birmingham Airport said security checks “are the responsibility of the airline, handling agent and Border Control agency”.
Swissport, which handles check-ins for Pakistan International Airlines, launched an investigation.

A leading Beverly Hills plastic surgeon claims to have found an environmentally friendly way to combine two of America's great obsessions – after converting his 4x4 to run on fat removed from clients during liposuction operations.
Alan Bittner, who founded a high-profile clinic on Rodeo Drive, the Bond Street of Los Angeles, claims to be able to power both his Ford Explorer and his girlfriend's Lincoln Navigator on biofuel converted from excess flesh from human tums, bums and thighs. "The vast majority of my patients request that I use their fat for fuel – and I have more fat than I can use," he says. "Not only do they get to lose their love handles or chubby belly, but they get to take part in saving the Earth."
Dr Bittner made his claim in a posting on the internet site lipodiesel.com, adding that he has performed roughly 7,000 liposuction operations, and that a gallon of human fat will produce roughly the same quantity of biofuel.
Scientists say there is no reason why human fat cannot be turned into biofuel, since it contains triglycerides which are no different from those found in waste animal fats that are already being used for the same purpose. However the discovery left medical regulators unimpressed. Using human medical waste to power vehicles (or indeed for any other commercial purpose) is largely illegal, and Dr Bittner's clinic has been raided by California Health Department officials. The magazine Forbes says that Dr Bittner's ability to create what he calls "lipodiesel" first came to light in lawsuits filed by several former patients, who recently accused him of allowing his girlfriend and assistant, who were both unlicensed, to carry out intricate operations.
A gallon of "lipodiesel" will give motorists roughly the same mileage as they would get from regular diesel, the magazine added. At present, most biofuel is made from a mixture of specially grown corn, and left-over beef or pork products.
Sadly, Dr Bittner is no longer around to bask in his new-found fame. His practice in Beverly Hills suddenly closed shortly after last month's raid, and he is believed to have moved to South America.
Lawyers representing several former patients are currently attempting to track him down. One of them, Andrew Besser, claims Dr Bittner's unlicensed girlfriend removed too much fat from his three clients, leaving them horribly disfigured. Dozens of other patients have complained to the State Medical Board, he added.
Dr Bittner's lawyer is yet to comment. A notice on his website claims that the doctor is currently living in Colombia.

Quote: Right-wing politicians have protested at the inclusion of Islamic symbols in nativity scenes in northern Italy.
Elaborate cribs with figurines enacting the nativity decorate most Catholic churches in Italy at this time of year.
A priest at a Genoa church put a mosque and minaret in his crib, while a crib at a Venice school also had a mosque.
The Genoa branch of the anti-immigrant Northern League reacted with fury. But a senior church figure said there are no firm rules on what can be included.
'Gesture of inclusivity'
At Our Lady of Divine Providence in Genoa, Father Prospero Bonanzi put a mosque and a minaret in his crib.
"The act of a fool," the local branch of the party called the priest's decision.
"The only thing he missed out was the suicide bomber ready to blow up Christ's manger," was the comment of the Northern League's European deputy Mario Borghezio.
In one Catholic school in Venice the mosque placed in the middle of a Christmas crib produced mixed reactions among pupils and teachers.
But Cardinal Angelo Scola, the Patriarch of Venice, was more cautious in his comment.
There are no rigid rules about what you can and cannot include in the nativity scene, he said.
The imam of Milan, Hamid Shari, said he thought the inclusion of the mosque was a good idea and a gesture of inclusivity.
Italians love to adapt new forms to ancient traditions and there is a new family in many of the Christmas cribs produced in Naples.
America's new President-elect Barack Obama and his wife Michelle figure in many crib scenes being sold there.

Quote: People should ignore signs telling them that it is legal to urinate in certain public places in Nottingham, the city council said.
The signs, which were put up by pranksters in and around Nottingham, are designed to look official.
They feature a toilet sign and include the words: "Public Urination Permitted After 7.30pm".
Nottingham City Council is now urging the public to ignore the notices as it sets about removing them.
'Cleaned daily'
The prank also featured a laminated note, headed with the logo of Nottingham City Council, which said the scheme was aimed at reducing the mess faced by residents outside their homes.
A spokeswoman for the authority said: "It is an offence to urinate in public and these signs have been put up illegally, for whatever reason.
"We would urge people to ignore them, otherwise they could find themselves inadvertently facing a prosecution.
"We are taking the signs down as quickly as possible and if anyone spots one of the illegal signs we ask them to please contact the city council so they can be removed."
The notice reads: "In an attempt to reduce late night public nuisance, during the holiday period, Nottingham City Council has designated several public urination areas across the city.
"This urination area will be cleaned daily between the hours of 5am and 6am."

Pope puts stress on 'gay threat'
Pope Benedict XVI blesses cardinals at Vatican 22/12/2008
Pope Benedict has called for "an ecology of the human being."
Pope Benedict XVI has said that saving humanity from homosexual or transsexual behaviour is just as important as saving the rainforest from destruction.
He explained that defending God's creation is not limited to saving the environment, but also protecting man from self-destruction.
The pope was delivering his end-of-year address to senior Vatican staff.
His words, later released to the media, emphasised his total rejection of gender theory.
Pope Benedict XVI warned that gender theory blurs the distinction between male and female and could thus lead to the "self-destruction" of the human race.
Gender theory
Gender theory explores sexual orientation, the roles assigned by society to individuals according to their gender, and how people perceive their biological identity.
If tropical forests deserve our protection, humankind... deserves it no less
Pope Benedict XVI
Gay and transsexual groups, particularly in the United States, promote it as a key to understanding and tolerance, but the pope disagreed.
When the Roman Catholic Church defends God's Creation, "it does not only defend the earth, water and the air... but (it) also protects man from his own destruction," the pope said.
"If tropical forests deserve our protection, humankind... deserves it no less," the 81-year-old pontiff said, calling for "an ecology of the human being."
It is not "outmoded metaphysics" to urge respect for the "nature of the human being as man and woman," he told scores of prelates gathered in the Vatican's sumptuous Clementine Hall.
The Catholic Church opposes gay marriage. It teaches that while homosexuality is not sinful, homosexual acts are.
'Rock festival'
The pope uses his traditional end-of-year speech to offer his Christmas greetings and say a few words about what he considers the important issues of the day.
This year, Pope Benedict also deplored the tendency to depict the Catholic church's World Youth Day, which he attended in Sydney earlier this year, as mere spectacle.
He stressed that the event should not be considered a "variant of modern youth culture, as a kind of ecclesiastical rock festival with the Pope as the star," but as the fruition of a "long exterior and interior path".

US anti-kidnap expert kidnapped
Arrests in Tijuana, Mexico (3 Dec 2008)
The Mexican army is targeting gangs involved in kidnapping and drugs
A US anti-kidnapping expert who has negotiated the release of dozens of hostages in Latin America has been abducted by gunmen in Mexico.
Felix Batista, a Cuban-American from Miami, was kidnapped as he stepped outside a restaurant to answer a phone call in the northern city of Saltillo.
Drug gangs are blamed for hundreds of kidnappings in Mexico each year.
More than 5,000 people have been killed in drug-related violence between rival cartels this year.
Mr Batista is credited with negotiating the release of many kidnap victims.
He was in Saltillo, in Coahuila state, to offer advice on how to deal with kidnaps for ransom when he himself was seized last Wednesday, local authorities revealed on Monday.
Support for family
Charlie LeBlanc, president of Houston-based security firm ASI Global LLC, where Mr Batista is a consultant, said: "We have notified the FBI and Mexican authorities, and they are working on the case.
"We are offering our support to the family and hoping for the best."
He declined to say whether the kidnappers had demanded a ransom.
The US embassy in Mexico City said it was investigating and would not comment further.
Hundreds of people are kidnapped in Mexico every year.
The number of victims has increased sharply following an army-backed crackdown on drug gangs, which has forced cartels to seek new ways of making money to fund their operations.

The editorial office of the European scientific journal Max Planck Research said that the Chinese text "had been chosen by our editorial office in order to symbolically illustrate the magazine's focus on China". This is interesting as the text on the left advertises roughly translatesas offering 'the services of young pretty housewives, sourced at great expence, to give you a hard on.'
As can be seen, it has since been changed to some waffle written by a Jesuit.
A Taiwanese reader on the University of Pennsylvania's Language Log blog provided a more formal translation:
"With high salary, we have sincerely employed [lots of strippers/girls] to stay in our daytime show.
"Jiamei as the director, she will personally lead young girls who are as pretty as jade.
"[We have] beauties from the north who appear in all their glory with thousands of deportments.
"[We have] young housewives who have hot body that will stir up your [sexual] fire.
"They are sexy, horny and enchanting. The performance will begin in few days!"
Questions over rumours that the original cover looks like it was based on a postcard taken from a telephone booth in a seedier part of Hong Kong, which some staff have visited recently, were not answered.
Whether the next editions cover will be an advert for China Bride, was also not answered.
The replacement calligraphy on the cover refers to a book written by the 16th century Swiss Jesuit, Johannes Schreck, titled 'Illustrated Explanations of Strange Devices'.

Investors reel at '$50bn fraud'
Investors worried about their money gather at the offices of Bernard Madoff in New York
Worried investors gathered at the offices of Bernard Madoff in New York
Worried investors are rushing to assess the extent of potential losses after the alleged $50bn (£33.5bn) fraud by the ex-head of the Nasdaq stock market.
Wall Street broker Bernard Madoff's fund ran up the massive fraud, which he called "one big lie", prosecutors said.
A federal judge has appointed a receiver to oversee Mr Madoff firm's assets and customer accounts.
Hundreds of people are thought to have invested with him. The 70-year-old has been released on $10m bail.
'Major disaster'
Lawyers for worried investors fearful that they had lost their savings, attended court on Friday for a hearing on the disposition of Mr Madoff's remaining assets.
The hearing was cancelled after an agreement was reached to appoint a receiver.
The collapse of Madoff is likely to accelerate the disappearance of hedge funds

Brad Friedman, a lawyer for some of the investors, said: "There are people who were very, very well off a few days ago who are now virtually destitute.
"They have nothing left but their apartments or homes - which they are going to have to sell to get money to live on," he told the New York Times.
One investor, Lawrence Velvel, 69, told the Associated Press that he and a friend may have lost millions of dollars between them.
"This is a major disaster for a lot of people. You work all your life, you finally manage to save up something ... lots of people are getting fully or partially wiped out."
'Pyramid scheme'
Mr Madoff founded Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities in 1960, but also ran a separate hedge fund business.

Investors have withdrawn from hedge funds amid market volatility
According to the US Attorney's criminal complaint filed in court, Mr Madoff told at least three employees on Wednesday that the hedge fund business - which served up to 25 clients and had $17.1bn under management - was a fraud and had been insolvent for years, losing at least $50bn.
He said he was "finished", that he had "absolutely nothing" and that "it's all just one big lie", and that it was "basically, a giant Ponzi scheme", the complaint said.
He told them that he planned to surrender to the authorities but not before he used his last $200m-$300m to pay "selected employees, family and friends".
Under a Ponzi scheme, also known as a pyramid scheme, investors are promised very high returns on their investment, while in reality early investors are paid with money collected from later investors.
If found guilty, US prosecutors say he could face up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $5m.

Fellow Flamehaus/HL2world ex-regular now turned lurker Alex Royce created a thread posting a picture of himself posed with famous game designer Hideo Kojima. After some clever 4channing by deusgear posed as Alex the news quickly spread to Kotaku and other sites. In an attempt to keep his job Alex called upon the help of snakez to grant him temporary moderator powers and delete all evidence of his posts.

Quote: Kotaku opened his big mouth to say: According to an anonymous poster on the popular but perennially sketchy 4chan board, Metal Gear Solid series director Hideo Kojima visited the offices of Infinity Ward today. Why? "To learn" about first-person shooters, allegedly.
The purported Infinity Warder wrote — with accompanying photo "proof" of the visit — that Kojima is working on something in the "FPS genre so he came to us to learn and take details from the team." It wouldn't be the first time that Kojima was rumored to have called upon the Call of Duty developer's FPS know-how.
EGM (and 1UP, natch) ran unconfirmed reports that Kojima was "on tour," visiting FPS experts like Infinity Ward and Killzone developer Guerrilla Games for some knowledge sharing.
Kojima has also dropped by Call of Duty: World At War developer Treyarch, we hear, a strong hint that the head of Kojima Productions wants to put third-person cameras behind him.
Could this be what "a next Metal Gear is?" Or is Kojima working on another beloved property, Policenauts or Snatcher, possibly? We'll keep you posted. Until then, consider this rumor for now.
Thanks to Chris for the heads up.

Bowling writes: "We're massive fans of Kojima's work, with MGS4 ranking up as one of my personal favorite games of all time. To presume Kojima and company has anything 'to learn' from us regarding game design is re-donku-lous. As fans of his team's work, we invited them to the studio for lunch and to check out what we currently have in the works while they were in Los Angeles. It's fairly typical for us to meet up with fellow developers whom we admire. Whether it be Kojima, Blizzard, or otherwise."

Judge: Imaginary characters are people too!
A man charged over cartoons showing sex acts involving children modelled on The Simpsons characters has failed to have his child pornography convictions overturned.
In the NSW Supreme Court on Monday, Justice Michael Adams ruled a fictional cartoon character was a "person" within the meaning of the relevant state and Commonwealth laws.
In February, Alan John McEwan was convicted in Parramatta Local Court of possessing child pornography and using his computer to access child pornography.
"The alleged pornography comprised a series of cartoons depicting figures modelled on members of the television animated series The Simpsons," the judge said.
The cartoons showed characters like Bart, Lisa and Maggie Simpson having sex.
The man was convicted and fined $3,000 and placed on a good behaviour bond.
"In my view, the magistrate was correct in determining that, in respect of both the Commonwealth and the NSW offences, the word 'person' included fictional or imaginary characters ...," the judge said.
"... the mere fact that the figure depicted departed from a realistic representation in some respects of a human being did not mean that such a figure was not a 'person'."
In dismissing the appeal, the judge ordered each party to pay its own legal costs as this was the first case dealing with this "difficult" issue.

Bull semen worth about £12,000 has been stolen from a farm building in south west Scotland.
The incident happened near Brydekirk in Dumfries and Galloway some time between Sunday and Thursday.
The semen is stored in a purpose-built flask containing liquid nitrogen in order to keep it at a fixed temperature.
A police spokesman said the flask was the only item taken during the raid on the farm.
The specimens were stored in an outbuilding. It was noticed on Thursday that they had been taken.
The flask contained about 400 "straws" of semen.
A Dumfries and Galloway Constabulary spokesman said that some form of transport must have been used in the raid as the flask weighed more than 30kg.
"It was all that was taken and they have forced entry," he said.
"Due to the high value it will have a market - somebody will take it off their hands."

Quote: The English is clear enough to lorry drivers - but the Welsh reads "I am not in the office at the moment. Please send any work to be translated."
When officials asked for the Welsh translation of a road sign, they thought the reply was what they needed.
Unfortunately, the e-mail response to Swansea council said in Welsh: "I am not in the office at the moment. Please send any work to be translated".
So that was what went up under the English version which barred lorries from a road near a supermarket.
"When they're proofing signs, they should really use someone who speaks Welsh," said journalist Dylan Iorwerth.
It's good to see people trying to translate but they should really ask for expert help
Dylan Iorwerth, Golwg magazine
Swansea Council became lost in translation when it was looking to halt heavy goods vehicles using a road near an Asda store in the Morriston area
All official road signs in Wales are bilingual, so the local authority e-mailed its in-house translation service for the Welsh version of: "No entry for heavy goods vehicles. Residential site only".
The reply duly came back and officials set the wheels in motion to create the large sign in both languages.
The notice went up and all seemed well - until Welsh speakers began pointing out the embarrassing error.
Welsh-language magazine Golwg was promptly sent photographs of the offending sign by a number of its readers.
Site of wrongly translated sign
The sign was lost in translation - and is now missing from the roadside
Managing editor Mr Iorwerth said: "We've been running a series of these pictures over the past months.
"They're circulating among Welsh speakers because, unfortunately, it's all too common that things are not just badly translated, but are put together by people who have no idea about the language.
"It's good to see people trying to translate, but they should really ask for expert help.
"Everything these days seems to be written first in English and then translated.
"Ideally, they should be written separately in both languages."
A council spokeswoman said: "Our attention was drawn to the mistranslation of a sign at the junction of Clase Road and Pant-y-Blawd Road.
Other confusing signs
"We took it down as soon as we were made aware of it and a correct sign will be re-instated as soon as possible."
The blunder is not the only time Welsh has been translated incorrectly or put in the wrong place:
• Cyclists between Cardiff and Penarth in 2006 were left confused by a bilingual road sign telling them they had problems with an "inflamed bladder".
• In the same year, a sign for pedestrians in Cardiff reading 'Look Right' in English read 'Look Left' in Welsh.
• In 2006, a shared-faith school in Wrexham removed a sign which translated the Welsh for staff as "wooden stave".
• Football fans at a FA Cup tie between Oldham and Chasetown - two English teams - in 2005 were left scratching their heads after a Welsh-language hoarding was put up along the pitch. It should have gone to a match in Merthyr Tydfil.
• People living near an Aberdeenshire building site in 2006 were mystified when a sign apologising for the inconvenience was written in Welsh as well as English.

Quote: New questions have been raised about US gun laws after a boy aged eight shot himself in the head with a submachine gun at a Massachusetts weapons fair.
Christopher Bizilj died after losing control of a recoiling Uzi submachine gun as he fired it at a pumpkin.
Both the boy's father and an instructor were present when the accident happened on Sunday at the gun show in Westfield.
State legislators are now considering drafting a bill banning under-21s from firing automatic weapons, reports say.
"We should take swift action to provide some reasonable restrictions on this type of unreasonable practice," Congressman Michael Costello told the Boston Globe newspaper.
"It's almost indescribable that within a year of leaving a booster seat, an eight-year-old can be holding a submachine gun."
The boy's father, Charles Bizilj, said he was 10ft (3m) behind Christopher when the accident happened at the Machine Gun Shoot and Firearms Expo.
Mr Bizilj told the Globe he had allowed his son to shoot the Uzi - which can fire hundreds of rounds a minute - because it was considered to have little recoil.
He said Christopher had fired handguns and rifles before, but never an automatic weapon.
"This is a horrible event, a horrible travesty, and I really don't know why it happened," said Mr Bizilj, a hospital director from Ashford, Connecticut.
Police have described the incident as a "self-inflicted accidental shooting".
But they are continuing to investigate whether the fair's organisers and Westfield Sportsmen's Club - the private shooting club where the gun show was held - held the appropriate licences.
Massachusetts has strict gun laws that require parental consent and the presence of a certified and licensed instructor before a child is allowed to fire a weapon.
